  • Senior Java Developer for Contract
    We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer to help drive key IT initiatives including number of nation wide multi-institutional open source and/or SaaS projects. Qualifications include: 5+ years experience in software development. Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of Java/J2EE. Demonstrated track record of architecting and developing enterprise-level distributed systems using various technologies/platforms such as XML/XSL, SOA/Webservices, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), etc. In-depth knowledge & experience in developing project proposals, Statement of Work, project/release plans, risk plans, and communication plans. Ability to determine project strategy and scope, lead business system analysis and designs, and develop realistic estimates and quotations for software services. Ability to work in dynamic environment with competing priorities, a team player comfortable with working across other groups and collaborating with customers, stakeholders, technologists, and management.   • Sr. Build and Deployment Engineer for Direct Hire
    We are currently seeking a highly motivated, senior-level Build and Deployment Engineer to design and implement automated build/deployment models for software applications, web/app services, and middleware infrastructure.
    Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience. 7+ years in software engineering/IT with responsibilities involving software configuration management. 3+ years of direct/lead responsibility for building and deploying web-based or service-oriented software components to Linux/Unix environments. Expert understanding of multi-tiered architectures & their inter-dependencies. Proven experience with and advanced knowledge of: Configuration management tools and strategies (SVN, Eclipse, etc.) Tools and techniques associated with deploying code and designing dependency based builds (Maven, Ant, Bundler, Rake, etc.) Integration of unit/integration test suites (JUnit, etc.) with automated, continuous build processes and tools (Hudson, Bamboo, etc.) Troubleshooting build and deployment issues. Working knowledge of web/Java programming along with various libraries, packaging, installation, and tools. Excellent working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages. Configuration and troubleshooting of industry-standard web/app servers such as Apache HTTP/Tomcat/JBoss. Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Configuration Management practices in an agile environment. Exceptional ommunication, critical thinking/problem solving, and time management skills. Detailed-oriented with positive attitude, strong work ethic, and strong desire to succeed. Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing work efforts, ensure that tasks are completed on schedule, and to provide documented evidence of all related activities.


  • Java Consultant for Contract
    The project consists of building RESTful APIs and mashups that enable the broad campus community to access and leverage campus information assets. All development is done using industry-leading ESB and integration technologies.

    Key Tasks for Consultant: Create Java components to access campus data repositories, including relational databases. Create RESTful APIs using Java technologies, including JAX-RS and ServiceMix. Build frameworks and utility components as necessary in Java. Assist with the administration of the development environment, including servers, and build and deployment tools.

    Required Skills: Java expert, 5+ years experience, Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, RESTful service development using JAX-RS and CXF, Development tools: Eclipse, Maven, Junit, SVN, Unix/Linux, Agile development

    Desired Skills: ServiceMix and Camel experience, Design and development for an OSGI environment, Experience with continuous integration tools (Hudson and Archiva, or similar), SOAP web service development


  • SunGard Banner Administrator for Direct Hire
    We are seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in the administration of SunGard Higher Education*s Student System Suite. The preferred candidate will have extensive experience with troubleshooting, applying system patches, and other database administration functions. Candidates will be able to work on different modules of SunGard Student Information System i.e. Student, Financial Aid Module, Academic History and Admissions & Recruiting. Experience with Luminis Portal is a plus. This position will assist with ongoing efforts to document, maintain and modernize our administrative and academic systems. As a Banner Application Administrator, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating activities as they relate to the SunGard Banner SIS. He or she will be responsible for the applications architectural strategy, implementation, configuration, development, and support as well as the linkages to other applications utilized by the client.


  • Oracle Developer w/ Oracle Forms & Banner for Contract or Direct Hire Positions
    Require 36 months experience working with Oracle 9i or 10g, SQL, Solaris 8 or 9, and LINUX. Proficient with data migration and integration techniques, Perl programming, and scripting. Prefer experience with Banner, Oracle Forms and Luminis portal development would be a plus. Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or a degree with extensive computer related course work OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience.


  • PeopleSoft HR Developer for Contract-Hire or Direct Hire Position
    This person is expected to plan, develop, implement and support Oracle/ PeopleSoft HR/Payroll system capabilities that will enhance services. Create or troubleshoot reports in PeopleSoft Query, Crystal Reports or Nvision. 24 - 36 months experience in computer programming or analysis. Proficiency with PeopleTools 8.48, SQR programming, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Query, App Messaging, Oracle9i databases, SQL and SQL Plus is required as well as excellent technical, business, organizational, and communications skills.


  • Luminis Portal Consultant
    Seeking a Luminis Portal Consultant for our direct client in the Chicago area. This position offers the opportunity to work for an organization that recognizes and rewards its employees and fosters a dynamic work environment which offers a wide range of career opportunities. This is either a 6+ month contract or 6 month contract-hire opportunity with a very stable organization. This is an on-site position, not open to telecommuting. The ideal candidate would have experience providing development and/or administrative support for SunGard SCT Luminis Portal. Responsibilities include being responsible for Luminis patch management and monitoring of daily logs for error messages. Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.


  • PeopleSoft HCM Team Lead for Contract-Hire
    The PeopleSoft HCM/ Team Lead is a senior developer and team lead position in the Application Services group. This person will be responsible for creating technical specifications for complex development projects, analyzing the impacts of vendor provided updates and upgrades to the PeopleSoft HCM system, and programming solutions using the PeopleTools suite of technology (SQR, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, BPEL, XML Publisher, etc.). Also, provides production support by analyzing, designing, programming and testing solutions to complex production issues as well as correcting production data in critical situations. As the team leader, this position coordinates the activities of team members and may be assigned to lead one or more development projects.


  • PeopleSoft Security Administrator for Contract-Hire
    The PeopleSoft Security Administrator (PSA) is responsible for maintaining and executing security related processes to update/maintain the PeopleSoft security structure. The PSA is also responsible for creating and maintaining PeopleSoft dynamic security groups, PeopleSoft permission lists, roles and dynamic queries. This includes synchronizing security permissions to portal menu navigation, updating user profiles based on transactions processed (hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, retirements, leaves) and processing approved system security access requests and changes as well as maintaining the Query Access Manager. The candidate must have at least 3 years of hands-on experience administering PeopleSoft Security for Campus Solutions, HCM, Portal, and EPM. Demonstrated proficiency in all components of PeopleSoft Security, including Roles, Permission Lists, User Profiles, Query Security, Process Security, and PeopleTools Security. Demonstrated experience in PeopleTools version 8.4 or higher, including Application Designer, Query, and Process Scheduler.


  • Application Security Analyst for Contract-Hire or Direct Hire
    This position is responsible for the security administration of our direct client's enterprise systems. The primary job function is to ensure that proper procedures are followed to enable users to access system information that has been properly granted to them. This position will work to plan, design, and implement application security solutions that adhere to the client's policies procedures and that protect our systems from inappropriate use. The IT Analyst I Application Security Analyst is part of the IT Security Team and will be specifically responsible for assisting with system analysis and security administration for the Banner Student System and other application systems. Bachelor's Degree in a computer related field OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience. 12 - 24 months experience administering application security in SunGard SCT Banner. Attention to details and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills.
